Eight outstanding area athletes, a successful high school coach, and an unbeaten, state championship boys basketball team have been elected to the Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame.

The Greater Utica Sports Hall of Fame (GUSHOF) has announced its 2026 scholarship recipients. Seven senior athletes from five local school districts - including Whitesboro, Holland Patent, Mount Markham, Adirondack and Thomas R. Proctor - are this year's GUSHOF award-winners.
