Former Remsen Central School boys basketball coach Dave Gaylord will be formally inducted into the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame during the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships in March at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

REMSENS GAYLORD HEADED TO HALL OF FAME

Former Remsen Central School boys basketball coach Dave Gaylord will be formally inducted into the New York State Basketball Hall of Fame during the New York State Public High School Athletic Association championships in March at the Glens Falls Civic Center.

The annual Hall of Fame Induction Brunch is at 1 a.m. Sunday, March 22, in the Civic Centers Heritage Hall.

Tickets for Gaylord's induction ceremony are available locally from Al Heywood (831-896) and Scott Jones (525-418). The cost is $25 for adults and $12 for children; children 5 and under are free.

The Remsen court was dedicated in honor of Gaylord in 22. He coached the Rams for 29 seasons and finished his career with a 426-166 record.

Gaylords teams won two Section III championships, nine Intervalley League titles, and three Semongca League titles.​
